Don’t panic, we explain everything you need to know about it, in order to avoid sanctions and other fines that are easy to avoid.
Thumbnails not necessarily essential
Among the vignettes to have on your windshield, that of theassurance is undoubtedly the most important, and the one to keep visible in all circumstances. Indeed, this is essential to check that your vehicle is well insured, even when it is parked and you are not nearby to show the papers to the police. If this is not present on your windshield, you risk a fixed fine of 135 €. On the other hand, you will not be sanctioned if you have not affixed your signature, this one not being obligatory.
On the other hand, and you probably didn’t know it, the technical control sticker is not essential on your windshield. You will not risk anything by not displaying it, but still be in possession of a document proving that your car has passed the examination. Finally, if the Crit’Air sticker is not obligatory everywhere, it must be visible on your windshield if you enter an area concerned.
