Sexy and cheap, here is the OPPO Reno7, the smartphone for young people

After the wave Find X5 Series, OPPO sets out to conquer a younger audience. With its new Reno7, the number 4 smartphone is focusing on aesthetics, photography and fast charging to appeal to teenagers.

Designed as the ideal first smartphone, the Reno7 first dazzles with its impeccable aesthetics. If the orange model in faux leather based on fiberglass is undoubtedly the sexiest of the two colors offered, the black version with the OPPO Glow coating (glittery and anti-fingerprint) already seen on the Reno6 remains very elegant.

The lines and format of the Reno7 will remind some of the design of the latest iPhones, and rightly so. Why not ? After all, the physical does matter a little anyway.

No 5G but an original camera

The Reno7 is relatively compact and incorporates a very nice 6.43″ AMOLED screen with Full HD+ definition and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Not bad for a model at this price.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 680 chip (accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage) will deliver enough power for 99% of users, including gamers.

As for the 4500 mAh battery, it should be enough to last a good day. If needed, OPPO provides a 33W SuperVOOC fast charger. The manufacturer promises a full battery charge in just 65 minutes.

The strength of the Reno7 lies in its original photographic material. OPPO plays fantasy and offers, in addition to the main 64 Mpxl sensor (with wide-angle lens), a microscope sensor inherited from the Find X3 Pro. The latter also allows you to measure tiny objects thanks to a specific mode that is more cool than useful.

The engineers worked particularly on the digital processing of the portraits. OPPO promises pro quality. Exaggeration of marketing teams or real killer feature ? We will check it in a full test.

Always with the aim of reaching a young audience that loves selfies and stories, OPPO has made an effort on the front module. It is based on a 32 Mpxl Sony sensor optimized for this model.

Reno7 price and availability

The OPPO Reno7 is available in black from today, at Cdiscount with an introductory offer at the price of €299 and from May 5 and until May 31, it will be available on the OPPO eshop at price of € 329.90 with a pair of OPPO Enco Air offered.
