The canvas hood

This is undoubtedly one of the most important and above all the most obvious points. When buying, be sure to look at the condom, which must be in good general condition. Take a look in particular at the folds as well as at the seams, which must not be damaged or cracked. Everything must obviously be waterproof and the roof must not have any tears.

The retractable roof

If you opt for a convertible equipped with a retractable roof electrical, check that everything is working properly, and that nothing is broken. The movement should be smooth and the control should work instantly. No suspicious noise should also be heard, and the locking should take place correctly, without driver intervention. If you have the slightest doubt, go your way, because this type of system is generally very expensive to repair.

The rear window

This advice is especially valid if you buy a convertible with a condom canvas, once again. Make sure the bezel, if not glass, is in good condition. It must not be cracked, opaque or yellowed, and especially not torn. If this is the case, it is better to look elsewhere, because again, its replacement can quickly become quite expensive.
